Promotor uses the minimum storage necessary to work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
What we store
- promotor_session (cookie, strictly necessary): a secure, httpOnly session token that keeps you signed in. Without it you cannot log in. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
- promotor_lang (cookie, functional): remembers whether you read the app in English or Spanish, so it does not reset on every visit. It holds only "en" or "es" and expires after a year.
- theme-mode (browser localStorage, functional): remembers your light/dark preference. It never leaves your device.
Consent
Because we only use strictly-necessary and user-preference storage (no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking), no cookie consent banner is required under the ePrivacy Directive and Spanish LSSI. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings at any time; doing so will sign you out and reset your language and theme preferences. Questions: [email protected].
